On April 23, the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services extended its March 25 order requiring insurance companies, on policies issued in Oregon, to

  • extend grace periods for premium payments 

  • postpone policy cancellations and nonrenewals 

  • extend deadlines for reporting and communicating about claims

  • provide consumers the ability to make premium payments and report claims while maintaining safe social distancing standards  

The extension order is effective through May 23.
